temetro

Welcome to temetro

An open-source clinical tool that puts an AI chat between you and your patients' records.

temetro is an open-source tool for clinics. Instead of clicking through menus and forms to find patient information, you simply ask — temetro's chat understands what you need and answers with organized, easy-to-read record cards: vitals, allergies, medications, labs, encounters, and more.

Everything your clinic does day to day lives in one place:

  • Patient records — demographics, problems, allergies, medications, labs, and visit history.
  • Appointments, prescriptions, and tasks — schedule, prescribe, and keep the team on track.
  • Staff messaging — real-time chat between members of your clinic.
  • Activity & analytics — a full audit trail of every change, plus a clinic dashboard.

temetro supports multiple clinics: each clinic is its own private workspace with its own patients, staff, and roles. You can belong to several clinics and switch between them.

The AI is not connected yet

temetro is under active development. The chat interface works — including patient lookups with the /patient command — but free-form questions currently get a placeholder reply. Connecting a real AI model is the next item on the roadmap.

Where to start

The bigger idea: patient-owned records

Most medical software stores your record in the doctor's database, and you never see what changes. temetro is being built toward a different model: the patient's record can live on the patient's own device. When a clinician changes something, the change is signed and is not final until the patient approves it in a companion app.

This part of temetro is still a vision — it is not built yet. You can read more about it in Core concepts and follow progress on the roadmap.
