Tasks

A shared to-do list for the whole clinic, organized by department.

The Tasks page is a shared to-do list for your clinic. A task is either personal (assigned to yourself) or assigned to a department — every member of that department sees it in their list.

Using the list

Creating a task

  1. Open Tasks and click New task.
  2. Give it a subject ("Call Mrs. Hassan with lab results"), and optionally free-text details.
  3. Under Assignee, pick a tab:
    • Myself — a personal task only you (and admins) see.
    • Other — choose a department: Admin, Doctor, Reception, Pharmacy, or Lab.
  4. Optionally set a due date and a priority (high / medium / low), then add it.

Working the list

  • Filter by All / Open / Done at the top.
  • Tick the checkbox to mark a task done — done tasks stay in the history rather than vanishing. Open a task to see its full details.
  • Each task shows which department it's for and who created it, so it's easy to follow up with questions.

Who sees what

You see tasks you created plus tasks assigned to your department; owners and admins see every task in the clinic. Lab members also get their department's queue on the Lab dashboard.

Task changes appear in the activity feed like every other change in temetro.
