Tasks
A shared to-do list for the whole clinic, organized by department.
The Tasks page is a shared kanban board for your clinic. A task can be personal (assigned to yourself), assigned to a department — every member of that department sees it — or assigned to a specific person, who then sees it on their board.
Using the board
The board has three columns — To Do, In Progress, and Done — each showing a count and an Add task button.
Creating a task
- Open Tasks and click Add task (use a column's button to start it there, or New task at the top).
- Give it a subject ("Call Mrs. Hassan with lab results"), and optionally free-text details.
- Under Assignee, pick a tab:
- Myself — a personal task only you (and admins) see.
- Department — choose a department: Admin, Doctor, Reception, Pharmacy, or Lab.
- Person — pick a specific clinician from your clinic's providers; the task shows up for them by name.
- Optionally set a due date, a priority (high / medium / low), and a starting status (column), then add it.
Working the board
- Drag a card between columns to change its status, or open it and use Move to. Moving a task to Done marks it complete.
- Each card shows its due date and priority, plus which department it's for and who created it — so it's easy to follow up. Click a card for full details.
Who sees what
You see tasks you created, tasks assigned to your department, and tasks assigned to you personally; owners and admins see every task in the clinic. Lab members also get their department's queue on the Lab dashboard, where each item expands to show its notes, status, patient, assignee and creator alongside a complete button.
Task changes appear in the activity feed like every other change in temetro.
