Appointments
Schedule visits and keep the clinic's day organized.
The Appointments page shows your clinic's schedule. Every appointment links a patient, a provider, a date and time, and a visit type.
Working the schedule
Booking an appointment
- Open Appointments in the sidebar and click New appointment.
- Pick the patient (by file number) — their name and initials fill in automatically.
- Choose the date, time, type of visit (e.g. follow-up, new patient, procedure), and the provider who will see them.
- Save. The appointment appears in the schedule with status scheduled.
Managing the day
- Update an appointment to change its time, provider, or status — for example to mark it completed, or no-show.
- Delete removes it from the schedule entirely (use status changes for normal bookkeeping; delete is for mistakes).
Reception, doctors, members, admins, and owners can all create and manage appointments — scheduling is front-desk work by design. Pharmacy and lab staff can see the schedule but not change it.
Changes to appointments show up in the activity feed and trigger notifications, so the team stays in sync without anyone sending a message.
