Meetings

Voice and video calls between members of your clinic.

Meetings are voice/video calls for your staff — a Discord-style set of rooms your team can hop into. Open Messages → Meetings in the sidebar.

Joining a call

  1. Open Messages → Meetings.
  2. Pick a room from the list to join the call, or click New room to create one.
  3. Your browser asks for camera and microphone permission the first time — allow it.
  4. You'll see a tile for yourself and one for each other person in the room.

In-call controls

The control bar at the bottom of the room has:

  • Microphone — mute/unmute yourself.
  • Camera — turn your video on or off. When it's off, your tile shows your initials (taken from your name) instead of a black screen.
  • Share screen — present a screen or window; click again (or "Stop sharing") to return to your camera.
  • Add people — ring a teammate into the call. They get a toast that rings for 30 seconds with an Accept button — which drops them straight into your room — and an × to dismiss (decline). A bell notification is sent too.
  • Leave — drop out of the call. The room stays for others.

A green ring around a tile shows who's currently speaking, and the room list shows how many people are in each call.

Scheduling meetings

Switch to the Calendar tab to plan meetings with your team:

  1. Click Schedule meeting.
  2. Give it a title, pick a date and time, and select the staff to invite. Past dates are disabled — you can only schedule from today onward.
  3. It appears on the calendar (days with meetings are dotted) for everyone invited — pick a day to see that day's agenda. An Upcoming list under the calendar shows your next few meetings at a glance; days with nothing scheduled show a friendly empty state.

You can also jump here from Messages → Inbox: the call button to the left of a conversation opens the scheduler with that person already selected.

Deleting a room

Rooms are shared, so it's easy to end up with stale ones. Hover a room in the list and click the trash icon, then confirm. The room is removed for the whole clinic — anyone still in that call is disconnected — so delete a room only when your team is done with it.

Good to know

  • Rooms hold up to 4 people. Calls connect people peer-to-peer, so audio and video never pass through temetro's servers.
  • Rooms are shared across the clinic — anyone on your team can create or join one.

Calls work out of the box on the same network or with simple home/office routers. If your clinic is split across networks behind strict firewalls, your administrator may need to configure a TURN server for media to connect.
